Hello, I'm Josh!

Some (slightly embarrassing) personal projects, where I started from scratch and committed every single line of code. Most of this is public in my Github profile. Built for the sheer joy of making things.

• 2020: Vanilla JS Sourdough Calulator – Fresh off my first JS course I set out to build a web app which could duplicate the functionality of a spreadsheet I used to calculate bread recipes.
• 2021: Vue Recipe App – Rebuilt the entire app from scratch in Vue with improved functionality (in-line editing, editable recipe method, and the ability to change ingredients using bakers percentages).
• 2021: Interview Hero – A concept which I wanted at work: a way to screen candidates for user interviews and book their session in one app.
• 2022: Tiny Alpine + Tailwind Recipe App – A project which served as an excuse to learn Tailwind and play with an impressively tiny javascript framework called Alpine.
• 2022: React-native Expo Mobile App – Explored mobile app development, implemented better code architecture, and worked out some kinks in the bread math.
• 2023: Website for a Coaching Business – Designed and built from scratch, this site helped Leya land her first client.
